By using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Service Description:
We provide Remote Online Notary (RON) and notarial signing services through a secure online platform. These services allow clients to complete notarizations remotely through a live video session with a commissioned notary.
Platform Provider:
Our remote notarization sessions are conducted using the Proof platform (formerly Notarize). Proof provides the secure technology, identity verification systems, audio/video recording, and compliance infrastructure required for legally valid remote online notarizations. All notarizations are performed in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
Client Responsibilities:
Clients must provide accurate information and present a valid government-issued photo ID during the notarization session. Documents should be complete and ready for notarization prior to the session. Clients are responsible for understanding the documents they are signing.
Technology Requirements:
Clients must have access to a device with a camera, microphone, and stable internet connection. Supported devices typically include smartphones, tablets, or computers capable of accessing the Proof platform.
Identity Verification:
All signers must successfully complete identity verification and credential analysis before a notarization can proceed. If verification cannot be completed, the session may be canceled or rescheduled.
Recording of Sessions:
Remote notarization sessions are recorded as required by law. These recordings are securely stored for compliance and recordkeeping purposes.
Payment Terms:
Payment for services will be collected during the notarization session before the notarization is completed. Pricing may vary depending on the number of notarizations, additional signers, witnesses, or other service requirements.
No Refund Policy:
All payments for notary services are non-refundable. Once a notarization session has been initiated, reviewed, or performed, refunds will not be issued regardless of whether the notarization is completed.
Limitation of Service:
We are not attorneys and do not provide legal advice. Clients should consult a qualified attorney for legal guidance regarding their documents.
Refusal of Service:
We reserve the right to refuse or stop a notarization if proper identification cannot be confirmed, if a signer appears unwilling or unable to sign voluntarily, or if the request does not comply with applicable notary laws.
Changes to Terms:
These terms may be updated at any time without prior notice. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
